Hello!  I am a remote Tech worker for a pharmaceutical company in RTP for 20 years who in my 50's who lives in North Carolina and is a home owner, but travels across the US with laptop in hand and remote work on high speed internet. I'm open to housesit oppotunities anywhere in the US as I enjoy traveling but maintain a 3 br townhome I own in the Raleigh, NC area that my just out of college, in first job son maintains when I am traveling. Yes, he's loves his dad but he's quite happy when dad travels/camps in my Subaru Outback or house sits so other folks can travel!

I've rental properities years ago so very handy with houses and I've tinkered with vehicles since age 15 so can spin a wrench well. I keep my cars and home very tidy as i will your place. I grew up with cats and breeding dogs in rural Pennsylvania in farm country so I am comfortable if there's more than just cats/dogs. I have 3 grown young adults in NC who have 5 pets between them who I take care of as my kids go on trips. On house sits I typically hike with whatever pets are able, avid reader, care for the home, and watch streaming services. Any questions please ask!

Leaving our furry and feathered family for any trip is always stressful, but this time, Ed  put our worries to rest with his superhero-level pet sitting skills!

He wasn't just a dog walker; he was a one-man (or should I say, one-person?) household crew! Not only did he keep our pups happy and well-exercised, but he made sure our cats were snuggled and feathery friends had fresh water.

But his care went far beyond the furbabies! Our house sparkled when we returned – cleaner than we even left it (seriously, where did he find all those missing socks?). Plus, he had an eagle eye for broken things and wielded a handyman's magic – the wonky door hinge? Fixed! The leaky faucet? Singing like a bird!

He even kept our garden thriving with his green thumb magic, giving our thirsty plants a much-needed drink.

Ed wasn't just a dog sitter; he was a guardian angel for our entire home. We came back relaxed and refreshed, knowing everything was taken care of with love and attention.

If you're looking for a pet sitter who goes above and beyond, look no further. Ed is a gem, and we can't wait to have him back (and hopefully convince him to water our plants even when we're home!).
